The problem with the TRUTH; it’s NOT popular and it’s NOT “pleasing”. People normally tend to believe in whatever suits their personality, their interests or their benefits… we tend to be pragmatic in issues that require being objective and honest. If the truth will harm you or obstruct you, naturally you will tend to ignore or deny or deviate it… it’s a structural problem in the human consciousness, in the human nature itself.
That’s why the TRUTH can never be a democracy or an election or a ballot or a poll or a referendum or a vote or a popularity contest or a public opinion or a stock market or a majority or a political alliance or a negotiation or an agreement. The TRUTH is empirical, scientific… it’s what you gain for researching a long time in nature, for collecting enough data, for experimenting a lot, for trial and error million times. The TRUTH is an objective/natural concept not a subjective/artificial concept… not a social contract or a consensus among people.
If all people agreed that there is no sun and what we see in the sky is an illusion from the devil… that won’t make it really an illusion. And if all people agreed that there is a supernatural almighty being living in the sky but we can’t see it… that also won’t make it a reality. People can always agree on whatever but the objective reality will always hold on its opinion no matter what. It may be safer and more useful to agree with people in the society… or people would crush our individual bones. But it’s also safer and more rational for the whole society to agree with reality, with the laws of nature… or nature would crush us all.
If the society is an authority on the separated individuals, reality is a brutal authority upon us all… and it doesn’t accept bribes or compliments or begging or threatening like people. No one can corrupt the laws of nature, even the stupid god of the people with its fake miracles can never raise someone from the dead or eliminate something happened in the past.
So fuck democracy, fuck social agreements and social contracts, fuck public opinion, and fuck all the narcissist human games it invented to delude itself and isolate its consciousness from reality and the tyranny of physics. It was never about what we prefer or what we dream or our wishful thinking, it’s about what we really can in the real world. And if the public can’t grow up and accept reality as it’s not as they want, not as their wishful thinking delude them… if they can’t be more mature, fuck them. The childhood of humanity has lasted for long, and these market systems of democracy and capitalism have spoiled people so much.
People think they can dictate reality by voting (political rituals) and praying (religious rituals)?!! Everything now is a matter of public opinion?! But what if public opinion is always stupid and narcissist? Actually people don’t dictate reality… reality dictates people.
Fuck democracy, I want a Technocracy or a Scientocracy. Call it whatever you want, but the rule of the scientific method is the right thing to do. Not the rule of public opinion or public understanding of any common issue, not kissing the people’s stupid ass every fuckin election before actually deceiving them for the benefit of the corporate owners. Democracy is just flirting with people before fucking them, then leaving them alone and miserable… and repeat because no one learns.
